Quote requests

Quote requests go through a Google Form. What you enter there, such as your name, email, and details about your manuscript, is stored in Google Forms under our Google account and used to prepare your quote. You receive an automatic confirmation email. Google handles the form under its own privacy policy.

Manuscripts and data you share

Manuscripts, results, and data you share for a review are used solely to complete the review, are never shared with any third party, and are deleted from all systems within 30 days of report delivery. A signed confidentiality agreement or NDA is available on request before you send any file.

Visiting the site

This site sets no cookies of its own and uses no advertising or tracking pixels.

• Hosting. The site is hosted by Vercel, which receives standard technical information to deliver pages, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time.
• Analytics. Cloudflare Web Analytics shows us aggregate traffic, such as which pages are visited and where visitors come from. It does not use cookies or build a profile of you.
• Fonts. Typefaces load from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address and browser information; see Google Fonts’ privacy FAQ.
• Sample report download. The Word version of the sample report is served from GitHub, which receives standard request information when you download it.

How we use information

We use what you send us to respond to quote requests and deliver reviews, and aggregate site statistics to understand how the site is used. We do not sell your information.

Your choices

To ask what information we hold about you, or to have it deleted, send a request through the quote form and note that it’s a privacy request.

Children

This site is for researchers and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site or the review process changes. The version on this page is always the current one, and the effective date above will change.
